So this years Electronic Entertainment Expo has kicked off. What has captured your attention?

Isn't E3 strictly a press-only event?

I'm going to admit, I don't really care about gaming this year. Everyone seems to be talking about motion control and 3D, two things I don't care about...

I'll look at a full list of announced titles once it's all over but the only thing right now that's grabbed my attention is Fallout: New Vegas. I enjoyed Fallout 3 (I have to replay it to finish off the rest of the achievements) but I'm not sure if I'd play a Fallout 3.5... I probably will actually, but it won't be a day-one purchase.

I could care less about 3-D and motion control too. Seems like they are getting carried away with the technology when they should be spending more time on making good games. Fallout New Vegas looks awesome. But I hope it doesn't just mock Fallout 3.

Portal 2 looks great...Also, nintendo has a great line up this year. I can't wait for the new Metroid, Kirby, and Donkey Kong games

Im also looking forward to Fallout New Vegas.

I hope this release will sort out a few things, like the slugish movement system.
Loosing Karma for things nobody could ever have seen you do.
Making theaving more usefull.
And writing that is a little more dark and sinister, like the original.

Oh yeah and the ability to shoot children, and better voice acting, better dialogues...

Lol, im a fallout 1&2 nerd. Still, its nice to see that world in 3D.

I havent read anything about Portal 2, but im sure that will be a highlight.

I cannot wait for MGSR and fallout! But there was definitely lots of other cool things.
a sequel to the brilliant REZ for the xbox 360 "Kinect"!!

new zelda game with cool sword controls!!!
kid icarus coming to 3DS!!!!
(plus zelda 64, starfox 64, and metal gear solid 3!!)

and Goldeneye, Donkey Kong Country, and Metroid all coming out on the Wii!
Nintendo's showing was pretty awesome. lots of exciting games!

Have you see the spiritual sequel to Rez Made by his creator, "Childrens of Eden" ?
And the New game of Eric Chahi (the creator of Another world and Heart of darkness) "Dust" ?

They looks awesome.

Yeah Mgs rising seems fun,and I can't wait for Dead rising 2 and Fallout.

I so don't want to make a simplified, flameworthy comment like "Nintendo won E3" cos there was a lot of good stuff for all systems (even if there was some baffling stuff too). But there's a lot of tasty stuff coming from Nintendo this year, I mean, damn.

Nintendo absolutely dominated this years E3. Kinetic and Move are atrocious. Do people realize how ridiculous they look when they play kinect? lmao

I had the most head shaking moments watching Sony's press conference. Pimping a fucking ad campaign!? Get real. I hope its true when Sony mentioned that they still has some good things to reveal throughout the week.

Besides kinect, Microsoft's new offerings of Fable, Halo and GoW just looked and sounded so lackluster. Those franchises are officially tired.

Add to those 'Journey' by the guys who made 'Flower' on the PS3. 'Limbo' looks cool too. Great to see some more unique "indie" titles causing a buzz at E3 this year.

Where was 'The Last Guardian' though? Last years' trailer still looks amazing.

Ya, I'm pretty excited about it. Especially since MGS3 is coming out for it.

So it was details about Japan release only so far, details of NA and EU release to come soon, Prob in Oct.

Jesus, MGS3 and the 2 RE games look amazing! Almost up there with late Gamecube graphics, cant wait to get one in 2011!
