That is a cool vid, does a lot with not very much.
What intregues me though is it was done by this guy, TheLeftSideOfHigh
http://www.youtube.com/user/TheLeftSideofHigh
Also on his page are videos for Fly In The Pool and Geometric Piss, which are on Old Tunes Vol 2. That BoC are linking to someone who's put a couple of the Old Tunes online (even if it's just a couple of Vignettes) is kind of interesting.

nice vid

the woods part is a lot like what i envision when i listen to that song. julie and candy usually makes me think of some scene either at a wharf or in some woods with all the leaves fallen.

indeed.
so yeah apparently this is the movie the intro quotes were sampled from and the video is synced to them. Season of the Witch. I knew Geogaddi had a halloween theme! I've been trying to listen to it at midnight every halloween like a yearly ritual. And that was before I found this out. Now I'm definitely making a full ritual for a halloween geogaddi session. And this definitely confirms that the Boards enjoy a fine toke of some herbage every once in awhile. Not that that's so damn surprising.
Getting high is a crucial ingredient to the full Boards experience. Sorry non-tokers, but you should definitely try this. I'm not saying go out and be a fucking loser druggie or go hurt yourself or others, but BoC while high is easily the best music there ever was and possibly ever will be. It would honestly probably be a lot cooler as a non-smoker too though, cause the music would get extra trippy and powerful.
This is definitely how to explore all the different layers to their stuff because a head change makes you focus on different aspects of the song, and the Boards always have more and more and more little details to focus on anew, putting the replay value of their stuff through the roof. This is their secret, lots and lots of very cool but initially subtle detail that slowly unfolds itself onto you the more you get into the album or song.
But for God's sake, be safe kids. Don't put yourself into trouble or harms way or anything. Be a fucking responsible adult. As Red Forman once said, "Just don't be a dumbass."

It's from Season of the Witch, but not the Halloween franchise on (1982). It's from the George Romero film from 1973.
And maybe it's because my family is musical, but I think the drug thing is debatable - I find myself totally immersed (to the point of meditation) in the subtleties of BOC without substances. But each to his own, I suppose.

Thank you for the correction.
And I agree that its not necessary per se that one has to be under the influence or anything. I was a smoker anyways before I got into BoC so this was just my own particular door to their stuff. And everyone definitely has their own door to getting into this stuff.
It would be absurd to say one
has to be impaired to enjoy their music and I don't mean to suggest that that's true. Just saying it certainly doesn't hurt the music and sometimes it can really add a new dimension to it, especially if you feel you've already worn out a particular album.
This reminds me of an old interview with BoC where the interviewer said something like, "People say BoC is a playground for the drug-addled mind. Do you all agree?" and BoC was like, "The music
is the drug. You don't need to have drugs to enjoy it."
