So, im (facebook) friends with Adam (Dosoene) drucker, and the other day his status stated how the "themselves" european tours last stop would be in edinburgh scotland. I commented to him to say hello to Boards of Canada while ur there, just to be funny.

Check out his status today..

I know the brothers have expressed their respect for the anticon collective in the past, (hence the odd nosdam, why? and clouddead remixes)

hahaha! How true! And it was amazing how many variations of lyrics I came up with for 1969 before I found out what the true words are. Actually... knowing the real lyrics for 1969 kinda killed the song a little bit for me.

BoC is the only band ever with which I've actually said to myself "Lyrics sheet? No thanks." Crazy.
