Guys? I've got a question.
Whenever I go to the
www.boardsofcanada.com site and I go to the discography, I hear a song. I usually check the site once every 2 months or something but haven't checked it in a while. Whenever I'm at their discography I hear a song now.
Is this new?
If it's not, just tell me and /close it right after. It could be a sign of live again though!

I haven't heard it in a while, but after listening to it a bit this morning, it does seem a bit different. Like its been changed ever so subtly, with a slight melody change and added echo effects. But then again, maybe I'm hallucinating!

Ah weird, I have never heard it before on my computer. Maybe it's because I just started using google chrome or something.

Weird that I never heard it before if it has been there for such a long time.
Anyway, just close this topic then. Don't want this to be another 10 pages topic about nothing.

Unfortunately, it's the same as the day it was posted.

i really hope that marcus and mike are thinking to themselves, "hey, if we make miniscule changes on our website, those weird stalker fans at twoism will start freaking out and think that a new album is coming out".

It's two separate Shockwave Flash movies that are playing at the same time. As they're different lengths they kind of make one ever–changing tune.
The weird insect / dawn chorus one is here:

The clonky bass one is here:

Its always been that way. In fact someone had posted up both segments as mp3s.
And they used to make minute changes to the site. Prior to Geogaddi, the site got darker and darker, ever so slightly.
Recently I've even doing color selection, with varying degrees of tolerance, to see if hidden text is with the background image. Don't see anything.
I think that angle is played out.
I imagine that they will wait till they are done before dropping it on us, let's say, like a bomb?

Christ is this what fans of this band have been reduced to?

Yep. They used to do cool things to keep it interesting. So great how people are so quick to take stabs at others online. Easy to hide behind that screen huh! Thanks.

Sorry it's more a dig at the band than anything.. the fact that they don't publish any updates whatsoever has us scrutinizing every little detail.. they are terrible at touching base with their fans

Thats how it used to be. Just a part of the mystique that made them extremely interesting back in the day. They started to give away too much when they started being more public. At least thats how I feel about it.
It was fun when you knew nothing.
