My work has picked up my cell phone bill and I am switching over to their provider which is AT&T. I was wondering if the I should get an iPhone or a Droid phone.

Is the iPhone worth getting?

I am picking one or the other up tonight so if someone could push me in the right direction that would be nice! Thanks.

Personally I would definitely get a Droid phone, but that's me.

but in all seriousness, just go to your local phone store and try em both, pick the one you like better.

I don't have one myself, but I really enjoy the iphone (Everyone else seems to have one).

my only complaint is that it's really hard to text on. my sister has had hers for over a year and says its still odd to text with. try it out though!

Yeah, I have the Samsung Galaxy which is a Droid phone. I love it. Never used an Iphone before though, so I really can't say which is better.

iPhone for me - it's a joy to use.

Thanks for the info guys! I didn't get to go up to the phone store yet, I am going at lunch today.

It's between the Droid Aria and the iPhone 3Gs-(if they don't let me get the iPhone4).

The best there is is the Samsung Galaxy S at the moment I think. It came out the tests better than the Iphone4

Honestly, this argument is kind of pointless, because what's better is purely based upon your perception as well as what you need to do with it.

If you need flash, then iphone is out of the question, if you don't need flash and you like apple, easy of use, and superiority, then clearly, you want an iphone; lol.

In my own personal opinion, I see the iPhone and iOS as locked-down, unfriendly, and completely noncustomizable. You have little to no options, and the moment you turn on the phone is basically how it will be forever. It's essentially a fashion accessory that makes phone calls and can run apps.

Android on the other hand offers you plenty of choices in how you want things to look or behave. I have changed so much on my Aria, from the launcher to even the OS itself. It was great before, it's even better now.

Haha, no I do in fact agree with you! Apple's products are way too expensive. Even though I bought 3 computers from them... sheesh.
