Slow This Bird Down - Litarally.

Someone has taken bird song and slowed it down, the hidden melody's within are beautiful and really reminded me of BoC.

Here is a quick try with some field recordings I made a while ago at a small river near my house.

Im going to try and borrow my brothers field recording, so I can record in 24bit and 96khz.
That should sound so much more clear.
It sounds like an alien planet, and reminds me of the planet Dagobah where yoda lives for some reason.

Cool! Now, who needs expensive synthesizers anymore when composing soundtracks for dark arthouse films?
Speaking of which, you should try to mix that track with footage of the film Begotten and upload it to Youtube! I reckon that would work quite well.

Cheers for the link...loved that particular call. Been doing this for a few years now actually. Absolutely beautiful finds, every time. Also recommend the same technique for bats and other animals with high vocal ranges...especially useful in revealing ultrasonic detail.
