there's some nice moments in the audio sampler provided. i admit, i do prefer his lo-fi guitar sound, but i'll be sure to check this out nonetheless.

That bit around 1:30 sounds really good, but the rest of it doesn't appeal to me. I should probably give Ambivalence another shot but I never got into that style of his music.

Holy shit. This sounds like it will shit all over Ambivelence Avenue...
which shat over everything Bibio had previously done.
I am VERY excited for this.

Yeah, it bloody does!
Quite telling that the Google Alerts I've got set up for "Boards of Canada" are ablaze like xmas tree lights at the moment - they're all pointing back to news stories of the Bibio release.

a couple of arts stood out to me as being a bit too "indie rock" but still excited! i dont think anything will ever top vignetting the compost for me. that album is one of my favorites of all time.
but i'm glad hes following up on the funky sound. you cant expect the guy to play lo-fi acoustic guitar forever. i love everything the guys done, so i really cant wait.

I prefer Vignetting over Ambivalence as well, even though they are both so darn good.
Can't wait for this man, that preview sounded so good. Excited!

Really? VtC was a good solid album of classic Bibio but he really busted out all his talents on AA. What makes it better for you guys?

the style on AA was all over the place, from fire ant to jealous of roses there wasnt much consistency. VTC was more cinematic and seemed deliberately english, just appealed to me more
