* "The Color Of The Fire" and "5-9-78", used on a European Nissan automobile ad. "5-9-78" is not commercially available, but can be found on the bootleg A Few Old Tunes Vol. 1.
* "Kid For Today", used on a European BMW automobile ad featuring the 7-Series.

I have the Nissan ad. It's cool. I found it on Soulseek, though it's small and pretty low quality. It's a Cunningham ad I believe... with lots of naked people......
But good.

I think I saw the Nissan ad over at youtube. It's weird, I have the Chris Cunningham best of DVD, and there isn't a hint of BoC on its version of that ad. It also has a different version of autechre's "Second Bad Vilbel" video as well.

Well. . . MTV in the States now has an ad for "Fast Inc." or something like that with Dayvan Cowboy. . . I only caught the last few seconds but Dayvan was definitely in the background. Anyone else see this?

05-09-1978 was on the Telecom Italia ad as well.
It's pretty well confirmed that the AFOT and OTV2 are Boards of Canada; "OTV1" is pretty solid as well, given the number of tracks from either AFOT or other BoC sources (interludes, web site, reused samples).

Speaking of YouTube, I found this little BOC gem...

I had no idea BoC had ever used cowbell in one of their songs...

Happy Cycling was used in a Jaguar car ad called 'Vibe'.
The link was
http://prefergorgeous.com/home.asp?langID=en&ts=1120654 but it's since died.
It wasn't very good and only used the very begining of the track.
