So, being a new member of this forum, I thought I'd see what everyone's favourite BoC album is. BTW, if you're asking, I got my name from a combination of Telephasic Workshop and Music Has the Right to Children. I didn't go with "The Telephasic Kid" cause that'd be wierd.

Anyway, my favourite is Geogaddi cause it's so beautiful but extremely dark and haunting at the same time. I freaked out the first time I listened to it as a whole.

I can't answer that. Way too hard. Yeah, damn...way too hard. IF anything MHTRTC I bought when it came out and I hadn't heard anything before hand. I bought the record on a review I had read for Twoism. It was amazing, I really didn't have any idea what the record would sound like. ABSOLUTELY floored me. I didn't know anyone who had even heard of them. But, Geogaddi and TCH pretty much had the same effect, however I had some idea going in to those listens. I know it's an ep but BPOITC is really a fucking amazing record too, TCH 2 is following oh so closely behind too.

at one point i would have mhtrtc but im not so sure now. ill have to abstain on the vote for now at least.

My favourite is Twoism. It was the first BoC album I bought, after hearing Iced cooly on radio. I first heard the album during the winter a few years ago and it feels so nice and wintery to me, not to mention Oirectine is my most favourite song. Ever. (240 play-count on iTunes)

But alas it's not in this poll! Out of the three choices, it's a close call but I'd say MHTRTC.

For me: Music Has A Right To Children, Geogaddi and The Campfire Headphase are all different but at the same time first rate albums.

i have to say geog. Music and campfire are great too, but i like geog because of the darker more alone feeling really.
MHT... has that very same feeling but not as much as geog.

Geogaddi. It's still so full of mystery for me. More than that, it's full of memories, good and bad. On one hand a daily commute to a job that almost killed me. On the other, bringing myself and Andy (the other half of Redpoint) together in mutual appreciation of it.

Geogaddi will always be, for me, the soundtrack to seeing through adversity and onto better times.

Sorry... I didn't know Twoism was considered an album around here. I always thought it was a mini-album, or an EP.

Even after all this time, MHTRTC and Geogaddi are still growing on me. I am REALLY starting to appreciate Geogaddi as of late in a way that I couldn't have imagined a year ago.
In the meantime, I'd have to be honest and say that TCH is the most consistently enjoyable album of theirs for me...

I wouldn't be at all suprised if Trans Canada ends up being my favorite work of theirs...

Geogaddi was the first one that made my jaw hit the floor. I heard it the same night as MHTRTC. But, I find myself coming back to MHTRTC more often. It seems to have more staying power. However, if I'm feeling really fucking crazy, then it's time for Geogaddi.

I do find The Campfire Headphase to have its place, as well. It seems to grow on me quite a bit each time I listen to it.

Yeah I'm going with Geogaddi as well. That album takes me places that I never knew existed.

damn, i had to vote for TCH because, well it needed some love.

This is kind of a no brainer for me at least, Geogaddi hands down. I never get sick of listening to that album.

in the end i had to go for music has the right to children. telephasic work was (i think) the first BoC track i ever heard. the album has so many memories for me. geogaddi was very close though.
