It's some combination of Boards of Canada/Christ./Flying Lotus influence on me

Started off a little rough for me; not a fan of the voicing on that lead synth at first, but around the 2 minute mark it really comes together nicely. The 'Telephasic Workshop'esque torrent of nonsense vocals and the reverb... POTENTIAL!

Yeah man awesome track, love when it goes mental at the end! Brilliant percussion.

The percussion is sick!

The focus on almost all my songs are generally on the percussion/weird little noises rather than melody or harmony, glad y'all liked it

So I don't clog up this board with multiple "New song I made" topics, here's another one for a mixtape:

The only criticism i can muster is that at 33 seconds the open hat(if that is what it is) sound is rather distracting until you throw on some more layers, then it works rather nicely. At about 1:41 it picks up, really awesome. Enjoyed the bouncing male vocals at the end, not so much the female. I assume you used soft synths? I think i hear chimera... Overall, great track! What software do you use? Oh, and if you care to review my newest work, you can find it here.

Got a few views, no comments -.- I'd much rather get opinions from friendly strangers than just friends. :-p

I'm not sure what your hearing at :33, the sound that comes in there is the sound of child laughing under heavy pitch manipulation. Also all the vocals are me under heavy pitch manipulation as well. The synth I used was Cygnus, and the daw I use is Ableton Live with Adobe Audition as an audio editor.

I listened to yr song, and I generally enjoyed it; the middle of the song was probably the best when the vocal loop and the synth were playing off each other.

Oh very cool those are your vocals, i assumed those where samples! Thats awesome you got that kind of sound out of cygnus, nothing i try and cook up in that synth sounds quite right. If there was anything you would change about my song, what would it be?

Maybe make it less digital/synthetic sounding and add more organic sounds? It sounded a little too DAW-y to me tbh

Are you saying "sweet meat" in the beginning?

the first line is "spindling won't mould your hole into a group home".
