Okay, someone feel free to scold me or whatever if this has already been brought up, but I have been intensely studying the Geogaddi cover as of late and have made at least one substantial discovery that I don't think has been acknowledged online yet...

It's a radioactive fallout symbol in the center of the album cover!!!

Specifically, a fallout shelter trefoil, if you will.

I find it kind of funny because I stared at the album forever before I realized it and it dawned on me all at once and really obviously. Makes a lot of sense though as radiation can be so damn evil, evil being a huge theme of the album, and I bring this up somewhat in light of the horrible events going on with the nuclear situation in Japan right now, which I sincerely hope and pray are resolved safely and soon.

To continue though, there's also a plethora of strange scary faces of what appear to be demons/tree spirits/imps in the red blood-like patterns of the hexagon thing in the center as well and in the trees, and at least one specific devil face with horns and sharp teeth near the bottom.

All of this is bit easier to see on the larger vinyl artwork, which is what I have been looking at, but none the less you can still see the radioactive fallout symbol clearly on the CD art.

If you've got a copy of the record or the CD, check it out for yourselves and don't just google image it, although you can somewhat see the fallout symbol in some of the google images. The creepy faces, however, will require an actual copy of the CD or vinyl to see and it may take some extended visual investigations over a period of time.

Of course, feel free to dispute/agree/eyeroll these perceptions all you want. That's the nature of subjective discourse of course. (ha I made a funny.)

Radioactive symbol has 3 shapes coming from the inner circle. This has 6 figures standing on a six sided looking hexagon shape.

But yeah, it's cool that you have your own interpretation on the cover. Everyone has their own ideas on it and that's what makes it a fantastic piece of art.

vinyl rip 24/96 all sounds very interesting, massive file though, so not downloaded yet, can it really make it sound any better?

Given all the work BOC does to make the music sound distorted, grainy and damaged, why would you run in the opposite direction? You want the grainy/damaged feeling to be extra crisp?

FLAC for this is terrible overkill, I will even go (Anathem! Anathem!) saying that it's a waste of gigabytes
