What is your opinion of this track?

I recently got a Nintendo 3DS, and today I drove around to take 3D pictures of lakes, trees, ponds, swamps and things like that, and while I drove I was listening to tracks like Happy Cycling, Orange Romeda, Seven Forty Seven, Chinook, Julie And Candy (ATP), etc. It was truly an epic BoC day for me.

Partially why I'm asking is because, out of curiosity, I googled "Orange Romeda" to see what would come up. And I saw this thread.

I personally have always loved that track especially. When I first heard it, I really felt like a kid again. When we're kids, we all have deep thoughts about death, philosophy, life, etc. and BoC tracks like these always bring me right back to that feeling. I love philosophy now, but these tracks remind me of my deep thoughts as a child. And then the kids samples are almost like BoC know what feelings it evokes.

It can be repetitive, though, and the percussion is a bit on the high frequency side so it can't be listened to on bad speakers or headphones. Those are my only complaints.

I dont like it that much...

I remember not thinking much of it first time I heard it, but listened to it again recently and it was just as good a many of their other songs.

I personally liked how they used that "wow" sample better in "On A Rolling Sea" though, in this song the sample kinda sounds a little put in there and ends abruptly.

I've always liked it. Nuclear bass + that flute make a nice combo.

One of my personal favorites as well. I can never get tired of it

My introduction to them when i bought We Are Reasonable People years ago. I've never heard of them before I got this release. Bought it for AFX/Squarepusher track mostly. OM has remained on of my favorites from that release along with AEs track. So I like it a lot... I don't have a special place for it or anything... doesn't remind me of anything... it just sounds good.

It's not my favorite but there's nothing bad I can say about it either.

feeling a lot of similarities between the melody in this and in kid for today
kinda makes me wonder if the kit melody is something of a reworked version of the romeda one

came across WAP100 in Wanted Records in Bristol yesterday and i love it.

Orange Romeda and Twoism go perfectly together.

i like it, along with every other track on WAP100, especially Broadcast's Hammer Without A Master and Red Snapper's 4 Dead Monks and OF COURSE Plone's Plaything

i wonder if all this track titles really mean something or it's just a mishmash of letters
