Radio-Activity for me.
Been listening to to them since I was a kid in the '70s and they still sound like the future even now.

Yeah! Those are the albums I've been digging on most as well. I got the box set last christmas and although the bright white cover is picking up a few marks the music and packaging is just sublime.
Also that stretch of songs in Trans Europe Express is the closes thing to jamming Kraftwerk ever did in that carnation!

The only album I've listened to in depth is "The Man Machine" which I've enjoyed thoroughly. Spacelab.

Over here Kraftwerk last played Bestival in 2009. Rob Da Bank, promoter/DJ and organizer said that it might be their last time playing the UK :/ I sincerely hope not... even if Florian Schneider has now left the band!

When I was 13 I discovered Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis.. I was hooked to electronic music ever since.
I can't believe I was only 4 when
this came out.

I picked up
Der Katalog a few months ago, the german versions are much 'better' (it just sounds more logical/fitting or something) than the english ones. Anyone agree?

Ah yes, Kraftwerk. One of the most innovative pioneers in electronic music.
I love their albums Computer World and The Man Machine.

always love to see love for Kraftwerk. they're performing 8 shows @ Walt Disney Hall in DTLA, March 18-21 (one show @ 19:30, next one @ 22:30 each night). I figured fuck it, this is a once in a lifetime event and I bought tix for all 8 performances. i can't wait.

Blimey, were they easy to get hold of? It was near impossible to get tickets for their gigs at the Turbine Hall, Tate Modern last year, though thankfully I was lucky enough to get a ticket for Trans Europe Express.
It was, of course, transcendent.

i think it was simple. i had to register about a week before onsale for a chance @ a promo code to unlock the tix. one presale code = 4 tickets of your choice. i asked two friends who weren't interested in going to also register so i had more chances. one of those friends & i received codes & since i didn't ask anyone to go with me i could buy a ticket to each of the 8 shows they're doing here. i've seen them 3 prior times: twice @ coachella (2004 & 2008) at the greek theater in 2005 in griffith park down the way from the observatory. i'm insanely excited. i got front row for their radio-activity concert.
