Tales from France

on BBC TWO

Kirsty Wark and Simon Davis throw away their guidebooks to get to the heart of modern France. In Marseilles, Kirsty meets world-famous fashion designer Pierre Cardin, rapper Jali of Massilia Sound System, one of the country's most successful bands, and goes on the set of France's latest daily soap opera. Simon travels to Nantes in the Pays de la Loire region to discover why it has been voted the best place to live in France.

Had 'Kaini Industries' playing throughout it.

Yeah man,

I hear BOC all the time on documentaries here in the UK.

The craziest one I saw was about hugely overweight people having liposuction. During sections where they removed someone's fat they played Sixtyten. I was so inappropriate.

I heard Olson a couple of days ago on another program, can't remember what exactly but I do remember thinking it was really inappropriate too. Some people have no taste whatsoever. Perhaps they're BOC fans who think they're doing the guys a favour with the royalty cheques they must get as a result. Personally I don't appreciate the trivialising of their music.

Next they'll be on an advert for babies nappies (diapers) or something equally ridiculous.

Anyway, take it easy folks, kozmikoid.
