Am i the only person who is completely perplexed by this song? If you listen to the notes at the beginning, they seem to be echoing into making the beat. Just listen to this song with headphones on and really focus in on the beginning notes, and continue following all the sounds as the song progresses, it is truly incredible.

Yep. I went through a period where I was totally obsessed with this song as I have so many BoC songs and realised it then. So many little nuances in their tracks which reveal themselves over time. I think that's what's so great about BoC, you're always rewarded for repeat listens.

Yep. The Craft is strong in this one. Similar tricks in a lot of Campfire era stuff, Dayvan Cowboy has it.

no your not. or perhaps you are now because you are new to to BoC. I swear on the launch day I'm going to a country where I can smoke without fear and listen with Seinheisers.

Nah, Peacock Tail is one of my favourite BOC songs, probably the song that got me into BOC.
Or was it Chromakey Dreamcoat? I'm not sure.

Cool discovery, I'm gonna hear it now to see if I can find anything.

Always been a top-5 fave Boards track of mine. Sublime and so uplifting. It's a mystery to me, more because I have never been able to recreate the chord progression myself (though I"m not a trained musician)

Sorry to pull a thread out from the dust in the back of the wardrobe, but has anyone else noticed that 'synth' that comes in a 1:58 is actually a fucking marimba being played by one of the brothers?

(This is crack to me because I am obsessed with mentally pulling apart layers in the mix)

I'm always suspicious when something sounds like a synth in their music, because more often than not it's a heavily processed sample.

Best track they've ever done in my humble opinion.

I love how near the ending you hear a bit of everything from BoC. Typical Campfire stuff, as well as some Geogaddi voice weirdness.

I love this track, especially the xylophone

I always thought it was quite clear that it was a marimba or xylophone of some sort

I legit thought it was single notes on a synth until listening whilst in another mindset yesterday.

Haha, it's funny how you can hear completely different things in their music when you're in different environments or mindsets

Yeah it's funny. When I smoke British bud and not this Polish shit, I hear so many different sounds in their tracks it's amazing, only I never seem to remember what those sounds were...

I listened to Geogaddi while in Germany earlier this summer, after not listening to any music for quite a while, and I suddenly noticed tons of sound I'd never heard before. I remember hearing way more voices in Sunshine Recorder than I thought there actually were. I had never heard that baby crying in that track before then. I wish I could remember all the different layers that I found that day.

Yes, this track was the early favor from thc, but after, when tch slowly became my favorite boc album, i appreciate the other tracks even more, still i love peacock tail, it has that brooding feeling, like all colours of summer surrounds you and it's just growing and growing, then, dayvan cowboy is a trigger of all this, which elevates you, peacock tail is a trip slow burner and dayvan cowboy is the peak, like you almost in not control of yourself
