And let's not argue over opinions.
Keep things positive.
Youtube links would be helpful.

Before anyone posts a video; how is fresh defined?

Something good that you think epitomizes current possible trends in music (or underground trends). Not something that is necessarily popular (yet), but something that feels like the way music is headed (or should head).
This is so subjective that I'm curious as to what you people would come up with.

I want to hear what's cool where you are. There's certainly nobody cool where I am.

Stuff that maybe you didn't like at first but it grew on you, or something new that you can't get out of your head.

I'm not talking Coldplay or Lady Gaga, but I might be talking about Austra, or Kimbra, or something that isn't SUPER popular.

I have a hard time defining this. Again, it's subjective.

Hmm... I sense... irony...

You've the wrong idea. Hawaiian slack key and Bach harpsichord works are epitomes of purity.

And mostly off the map. You need the next big disco hit?

Perhaps if I had cited a trend, it wouldn't have been ironic? If its a trend its known enough right? Trends are so dumb. What about those Mexican giant toed boots?

And let's not argue over opinions.
Can we at least DISCUSS each others opinions?

That being said..

Let's keep things positive and then that. WTF

I demand a clear answer

I was not not being positive. Clear answer to what? Has someone asked me a question?

Oh noby's question? Yeah we can discuss opinions.

I'm really enjoying these so far.

And I was being completely serious when I said that I do indeed need the next big disco hit. I won't lie, that is more like what I was looking for and I have no shame in it.

I liked that song for a week. I still have it on my iPod but it's a skipper.

Everything You Do is A Balloon has, for whatever reason, never stopped sounding "fresh" to me.

That is not to say I haven't gotten a little tired of it, but "fresh" is the term I would use to describe the melodies of that song.
