assistance in figuring out what this song is.

one of my friends sent me a cd with assorted songs, and included some random BoC that was recognizable. but this song is mislabeled as 'hey saturday sun', and i am confused, what is this?
it vaguely sounds like boards of canada. reversing it in audacity leads to some weird live drum pattern with some casio-like synth playing.
i'm sure it's one of those fake CHP songs out there.
