When someone told me the movie MORVERN CALLAR (http://imdb.com/title/tt0300214/) featured "Balloon" I excitedly rented it from the video store only to find the movie boring and the length of the track very brief.

Therefore, for those who want to bypass the movie and just hear how much of "Balloon" is used, I uploaded a sound clip:

I thought Morvern Callar was a great film. The book is fantastic and the whole soundtrack to the film is excellent (Aphex, Broadcast, Velvets, Can, Ween, BoC...)

I'd recommend all of Alan Warner's books - atmospheric, vaguely psychedelic, Scottish locations... sound familiar?
