the project he made the music for is AUJIK, seems to be the most satanic project in ages.

Parallax Records is great tho, check out Syntaks new album there.

Can you be more diabolic than this???

Concept:
AUJIK are an esoteric group who believes in animism and worships nature.
They divide nature in to:

Refined:
robotics
artificial intelligence
nano technology
dna manipulation
augmented reality
body enhancements
carbon nano tubes
synthetic photosynthesis

Primitive:
trees
plants
soil
organism
stones
metals
minerals
foliage

AUJIK states that:
The refine nature originates from the primitive and vice versa.
That refine nature is order and primitive nature is chaos.
That the resistance between them will decrease until they converge in to a state of supreme clarity.
In order to reach this state AUJIK project sacred artefacts that are a crossbreed of organic and synthetic entity.

The following manifestations illustrates how they interact with their artefacts.
Each artefacts consists of an unique and multifaceted Artificial Intelligence (AI).
By transcending emotional inputs to the artefacts artificial limbic system the AUJIK members can reveal various areas and aspects of the artefacts minds.
Examples are the artefacts self-image, consciousness, sub-consciousness, gender, affects and spirituality.
This symbiosis also leads the AUJIK members to a higher awareness of the self.

The video is a collaboration with Scottish electronic musician Christ and a Swedish cognitive neuro-scientist at Stockholm’s university.
The concept of the film is how Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) transcends with human emotions.
In the video several examples of this is manifested by an fictional esoteric group called AUJIK.
The video took one year to accomplish and was funded by the Swedish art grants committee and Helge Ax:son Johnsons foundation.
A Cathexis soundtrack will be available on Parallax sounds records in late spring.
There will also be a catalogue with illustrations and information about AUJIK and their synthetic/organic artefacts.

Cathexis is divided in to four sections/chapters:

QUALIA: Form, space, physics, mimicry and metamorphosis.

AMYGDALA: the limbic system; neurosis, psychosis, phobias.

LABRIDAE: Gender, animus/anima-complex, hermaphroditism.

MANDALA: creativity, interaction, transcendence.

I don't think I get it, but it freaks me out a bit.

doesn't make any sense to me, but I don't see how it's satanic

I admire anyone who would take on stuff as ambitious as this. and using electronic music to explore the eventual merging of humanity and machines is just awesome.

this is cool on a cosmic level.

Oh my god! Amazing!

I believe Archival is referring to the Luciferian concept of knowledge where knowledge is deemed as evil and what will eventually lead us to merge with technology. I get that. What I LOVE about it is the balance that is suggested by having an artist known as CHRIST doing the music for such a SATANIC project! Could not be more perfect!

Ordo Ab Chao, baby!

still.... the concepts are too bizarre for me to figure out. I'm only interested in the music.

I fail to see how anything "satanic" is going on there. Perhaps you guys are joking and I'm not getting the joke. All I saw were a bunch of half-baked science-y terms getting thrown around haphazardly and some computer generated images of some star wars style landscapes. That's not to knock the project, but there wasn't anything satanic there. That sounds like some sort of an accusation that only a christian would come up with: these guys are trying to blend new-agey fluff with some science--since it doesn't mention Jesus it must be satanic.

I'm looking forward to more music from Christ., and I'm probably going to pass on this film and it's goofy spirituality.

You're in the right ballpark. There are some people who think the New Agey stuff is Satanic, and indeed, some of them are Christians.

But seriously, who cares. The music is pretty good.

Any samples from the album (not the music from that vid) somewhere yet or a tracklist?

Found this from Christ Facebook page, track is called "Kardashev type one" and it totally makes sense.

Also there's older videos by AUJIK with Christ music that are worth checking out:

"one sunny cloudy day" from the Vernor Vinge EP

and "Odyssey 31" from Distance Lends Enchantment to the View

I don't care much for some of the synth sounds in that track; they sound kind of grating and fart-like. as for the video.... why take acid? just watch this. still makes absolutely no sense to me and is nutty
