What live show did you attend recently?

I was at the Francofolies in Montreal, Loco Locass (new CD came out on the 12th, after 8 damn years of waiting...)
It was an epic show, anywhere between 55000 and 100000 people. Yeah with the students protests in their 4th month and the general fed-up with the govt, it was electric

(pics below, not mine)
So what's the last live performance you saw?

I hardly ever go to live shows, mainly because nobody halfway decent plays near my hometown and I don't have the money to go anywhere, andI'm a minor.
I've seen Matisyahu live a few times, and I watched a local band called Cruiseship play in the back of a record store on RSD 2011.

I saw Radiohead for the first time ever last friday from about 50 yards, along with about 150 other bands that weekend. It was pretty surreal.

This made me laugh, not in a bad way at you personally, just sort of tickled me. Poor lad
As for myself I went to ATP London a few weeks ago, watched Wolves in the Throne Room, Sleep, Melvins and Slayer. As you can imagine with that line-up it was pretty fucking awesome!!
Off to Bloc 2012 next month. Happy days!!

I can understand how it's kind of funny, especially since music is basically 95 percent of my life. Yes, poor me
Yet, I live. I'm happy with my grainy bootleg Nirvana DVDs and the occasional in-store show put on by my town's record shop. haha
There's a neat little DIY indie venue about a half-hour from where I live, the venue is in a college town which is quite hairy at night. Maybe I should brave the possibility of being stabbed to go there.

risk it. I don't mean that in a provocative way or anything, but as a live music enthusiast since way before being old enough to drink, I cannot recommend going to smaller dingier clubs to support up and coming bands. shows, at least to me, will always be a communal and educational environment to casually extend musical boundaries. but I digress.
Dandy Warhols was the last big kind of show I went to, playing Manchester on 4/20. The drummer was so high. They still put on such a good show. They're a real unit when playing live.

Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) and that whole The Wall tour. Was fantastic. I was at the Sasquatch! Music Festival immediately before that, so another 40 or so artists there.. Good fun.

Best I have ever seen them for a long time Mexicola. They really were on (hallowed) point. The sound which sometimes dogs Slayer shows was awesome, a really full big sound.
What was really cool about the whole day was I took a long time friend along with with me, who comes from a strict hardcore/punk background, he's a big Reign in Blood fan but is a bit sketchy with all their other albums (songs too long, not enough punk, not enough hardcore, too metally, blah blah blah lol). And he was knocked for 6!! He's been too hundreds of gigs and agreed it was one of the best shows he'd seen and said it was one of the loudest he'd ever witnessed. The crowd suitably went instantly fucking nuts too. Happy days.
The light show/lasers was the best I've seen too at a Slayer gig. Some of it very subtle and clever, not what I have usually seen at a Slayer gig.
10/10 easy. Which is fantastic for us and them, especially considering they are in their twilight years. Araya (the greatest metal frontman of all time? Perhaps) just didn't stop smiling/grinning. Loved it.
some nice write ups here. Wolves in the Throne Room were also mind-blowing!

I haven't been to a live show since last year, but the best live show I ever did see was Infected Mushroom in Ottawa. I got to chat with them a bit over a pint. It was awesome.
