Bitching

I'm just sick of all the bitching that goes on between everybody, whether it be about homophobic chicken restaurants or guys shooting up theaters. Having to listen to Fox news every night, this gets on my nerves. Liberal or Conservative, gay or straight, everybody just shut the hell up.

I'm going to bitch now about this sort of comment.
Anyways, Julian, while I agree that when it's excessive it is annoying, people bitching and ranting about things is sometimes necessary for action or a change of general opinion.
I really think it's all about how you phrase the bitching/ranting that matters. If it's over a point (i.e. legislature aiming to prevent violent acts in the future), then annoying as it may be it has a foundation. If it's over meaningless nonsense (i.e. religious right bitching about schools saying happy holidays instead of merry christmas) then it's just bullshit.

That's the thing, people complain but nothing is ever solved as a result of it.
Well that's just because people never come up with any ideas once they've identified what it is they don't like.
If they do, they don't really get enacted.
It's all part of a process though. You know, where we can get angry about something and then change it if we actually try.

I kind of agree with the head post though, I don't even watch the news/read the papers anymore. To depressive. I don't really give a flying fuck about the world these days, as long as I can live my life the way I wan't. I know it's selfish as fuck, but people keep killing each other, the world is still a sick place. I just want to live my life with my friends and family, and I love the life I live. Not caring anymore may just be the best thing that happened to me.
