Hello folks, a new split lp (40 songs total) is out today with artist Bearhead, you guys should check it out. I think you'll like it. Make sure to check out Bearhead's side as well, it's heavily influenced by Boards of Canada.

Sounds like early Bibio sucked through an MPC, I like it!

Thanks for listening, I appreciate it. Yeah I'd definitely say there's a heavy Bibio influence on both sides. Check out the very last song "Growing", definitely reminds me of Bibio.

mmmmm bump. Any other takers? I gave this a listen myself (I sometimes feel kinda pretentious listening to my own stuff.. lol) and have to say I'm impressed with both sides of the split.

I'm sorry - I was under the impression that I had posted here before. Evidently I was mistaken.
I've downloaded this release in FLAC and, while I haven't listened to it in its entirety yet, have thoroughly enjoyed what little I have heard.
You both have unique yet highly intelligent and satisfying selections on this release (not to mention the fact that you're both really nice people! haha). This is muuuuuuusic liiiiiike iiii've neeeeeever heaaaaard.........
I heartily recommend the bearhead/tape sounds split to anyone who may read this.

Thanks for the support pianoforte, I really appreciate all of that! I'm also really glad to know that you dig this stuff when you have the time I definitely recommend you give the whole release one sit through, it seems to flow really well.
But once again I'm glad you dig this stuff- it feels good to be able to make something and enjoy it and know that other people can too.

I know, right? That is one of the most rewarding parts of making music, at least for me.

I agree with this statement.

The tracks are great but they are a bit short. I know there's a lot of artists who put out short tracks like this, but I prefer short tracks as interludes between longer tracks than an album wiht 90% of 1 minutes timbits.
That said, it good music, I dig the vibe on most of them. Some tracks feels unfinished though, I had this impression while listenning to some of the shorter tracks.

I feel like a shorter song makes it more appreciative. The shortest songs on my favorite albums are usually my favorites (go figure). They weren't intentionally short, though. They just kind of happened that way. I mean, it was either make a nice melody and kill it before it gets old, or make a really repetitive song that no one can sit all the way through.

I agree with you about a some of my songs though some of them I think would only survive as one minute things. Which songs in particular do you mean though? I'm just curious. I do believe I could have put in a bit more work to some of my stuff but unfortunately laziness ensued.
