Hi, guys! I thought I'd make this thread in hopes of helping all and any musicians on here collaborate with many others via one large thread filled with posts of a bunch of ideas and skeletons of songs, being that others could download and add things to, edit, etc.

I think this is a neat idea, and something fun to do.

I'm totally up for it. About a year ago I created a dropbox for artists on Twoism to share ideas, stems and samples. For whatever reason it fizzled out for the most part. I think there was a sort of, this isn't going anywhere mentality and people dropped off, but I still have the dropbox and share stuff inside of it though, so that's an option. Also, I use Reason and I'm always eager to share .rns files or help collaborate on others.

Well, I'd definitely like to see something like this to bet big, again. There's a good number of members on here, and I believe the majority of them make music, themselves. And really, what's a better way to collaborate with other musicians, than collaborating with those who share the same musical interests as you?

Which version of Reason do you use? I'm a Reason 5 user.

N/A - Mostly 4-track cassettes edited in Audacity under Linux!

They don't have to be Reason files, or FL, or whatever you use. They can just be .WAV files of maybe a loop or a stem, etc. Something to build off of. What I'm sort of aiming at is a group of people sharing foundations of songs, and other people can take those and build off of them to make something new with different foundations.

I use Reason too, be very happy to share some stuff! Though I'm not too long at it

Yeah it's a real nice idea, be cool to see a few guys up on the Dropbox. Would be a good resource for everyone for sure

I should also add that this would be a great place to share samples. I have a ton...

I wanted to get a folder for Reason set up, I know a few here use that, myself included. People can upload reason files, refills etc Would people be up for that?

I'm new to dropbox really, can anyone tell me how to upload stuff to there? I'm not too long at Reason, but I'd happily upload some stuff I've got so far and some nice refills and some wavs. Also have a whole bunch of photos for the artwork folder some of ye might like.

You should be able to find the "Dropbox" folder in your computer somewhere (if you have an account). Then, you can open that folder and find the "lost integrity" folder inside of it. Then, after you've created your folder, you can drop your samples/loops/projects in said folder.

Ok cool, thanks. I think that's what John said to me too. I never downloaded Dropbox, didn't know you had to. I'll go through some stuff later and post up some stuff in the Reason folders. Lookin forward to seeing everyones stuff

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention you had to download the Dropbox program. I apologize, it's been a while. Hahah.

So there seems to be a bit of clipping on these Reason files. Is there any way to combat this? I get this a lot in my mixes, so I end up turning them down and amplifying them in Audacity.
