Hiya,

Just read the whole redmoon activity. Damm shame those that came all away over from america missed it..if it was even on???
admirable though :)
must have been some adventure. I am sure Mike and Marcus check this forum. Like any musician they will be googling their name.

Definetly though, make ur own redmoon night(s) Summer is here, bonfires, music, weed and chat....all good!!

I've been on and off this forum for a wee while. Time to contribute i think. I was listening to Trans Canada. I like it but still want more, its like expecting a blow job and just getting ur balls hummed or something.

Still I really love 'Heard from the Telegraph lines', that is so beautifull. Sounds like the end to some film.

:) spank you sir.

I'm listening to the reveresed track of dandelion. that is beautifull....
so summery sounding, feels like your lying on a green field. not realising u have cow shit in your hair as you are hypnotised with the rich meloidy. That is true body armour.
Thats what i love about the boards of canada. its like valium though more natural.

Every band i listen to, well likes of MOgwai, Arab Strap, Tortoise, all that post rock, electronic music all have a taint of the B.O.C through them, they are so influential.

This is good though can be bad when u hear blatant carbooard copies. Actually i was listening to 'christ', i know he used to play with the boys. his music is sublime. anyone here likey???

peace

Yes, definetly Chaos. ...so it seems. things will chill.

and hello! (waves)

So yeah any of you heard of 'christ'. just bought the pylonesque e.p recently. worth listening to. Apprently before he left B.O.C he infused that mono synth which is the obvious boards sound.

I read on another thread about the Korg MS200. My friend is in a band and uses one of these. There is a preset on it which has that warm fuzzy sound we all know of. Kind of similar to My Bloody Valentine too.
Dont know if it was intentional to copy B.O.C or the fact Mike and Marcus got their first in using a factory setting.

I dunno. I thought some of the Pylonesque tracks were great. He can be a bit hit or miss though. Metamorphic is pretty close to a masterpiece in my eyes... I wish I could find a copy...

Hey Boardsofdublin, you wouldn't happen to know how to aquire pre-Pylonesque Christ would you? Is it as rare as Pre-Twoism BOC?

Good Evening fine people.

The name white blur is based on a what i see sometimes..white blurs. dont know it they are ghostly or not. my room can smell foul sometimes...i really blame my girlfriends cooking..BOOM KSSSSH.

Sorry, terrible joke. I never have Saw 2 i am sooo snobby when it comes to films. After seeing the first one i avoided the follow up.

I really am enjoying christs work. Spengly Bengly sounds like your driving through fog on full beam at six am on a winters morning.

I'm travelling to America, Florida for a holiday this week. My opener for flying is that old B.O.C track..shit i cant remember, its just a date.?? anyone here know? It opens with a lovely droned keyboard, sounds very mystical and exotic.

I remember when flying from Amsterdam last year, on my mp3 player was Corsair. Most on the plane were sleeping, the few who were up had tiny lights on above their heads.

Looking out my window just as the plane was flying over the lights off Glasgow, i felt this surge. You should all get this as well no doubt. Its that feeling. that you have picked a band. A band that will stay with you for the rest of your life.

Profound, very profound.
