that link is actually where i first found out about ghost box 2 or 3 years ago. I love everything by jon brooks and pye corner audio.

spectrum - the chord change right where the drums come in gets stuck in my head often - same with the gated synths that come in at 1:18

Finally arrived today in New Zealand. No tears or scratches etc. It sounds so nice on vinyl.

I was listening to the old tunes and I heard this:

i was excited that the album was going to be released on my birthday, but then i found out it came out here in new zealand a few days before the official release (and i got the official mp3s on the day) and some people i knew already got the vinyl from a record store in town.

the album was beautiful and perfect; each song was better than the preceding song. one question though, at the outro of one of the last few tracks it faded in to a little synth line which is from an older boc song and i was wondering if anyone else heard it. not sure what album but probably one of ...

I would love it if boc release the old tunes tapes w/ some of the audiotracks in like a vinyl / cass box set. I would also love it if rixxx (person selling the tapes on ebay currently) would release hq rips of the cassettes

i used to have a playlist which was all the nice beatless boc tracks that were more texture based, having that on a loop was really nice (one time i just played olson through the whole night on repeat).

about 2-3 times a week i will plug in my ipod or turntable to my speaker and play some ...

roygbiv is probably my favorite song of all time by anyone ever.
other favorite boc tracks include olson, gyroscope, the constants are changing, sixtyniner and dayvan cowboy.
