Underrated BoC songs
Where there any BoC songs that you felt were amazing, but not very popular?
For me it has to be Audiotrack 04B from the Random 35 Tracks tape. The guitars in that song are absolutely beautiful.

A few days ago, Zoetrope finally hit me with full force. I figure it's not too popular because it suggests a very different mindset, a very different sensibility than most of their music. I suddenly stopped listening to it in a "what's so good about it" feeling, but just let it take me away and do its magic. It worked.
EDIT: "Zoetrople", what the fuck

I thought basefree was a favourite with most fans. I love it also.
one of my all time favourite tracks that i dont see mentioned much is 'in the annexe', it just totally lives up to its name, it sounds so alone and apart.
a lot of my favourites are the shorter 'interlude' tracks. diving station is another one i love. again it sounds just like its name, it always makes me imagine a trip in to the depths in one of those old diving bells. the piano fades away until your left with that wonderful whooshing sound as you slowly descend deeper, and further away from civilisation and safety.

Holy shit, that chord change. You know the one, when it descends one semitone. Gets me every time. I love that.kid wrote:one of my all time favourite tracks that i dont see mentioned much is 'in the annexe', it just totally lives up to its name, it sounds so alone and apart.

I agree, lovely tune.
Yeah in my top 10 BoC tunes for sure. Never gets love though.
Sagan: In order to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe.
Basinski: I wanted Cascade to become this crystalline organism like a star or a liquid crystal spaceship, a jellyfish traveling through the galaxy…

Yeah. Zoetrope was one of the first BoC tracks I listened to. It's just amazing.FernieCanto wrote:A few days ago, Zoetrope finally hit me with full force.
