Quite surprising to find the word "blood" on a BoC track imo.

At least three tracks with blood reference on Inferno;

Pumping blood in Word Became Flesh,
Shedding blood in Capricorn,
Blood in the Labyrinth

I couldn't restrain myself from doing the math here, if the Earth's 4.6 Ga was compressed to 24 hours, then the 13 year wait between TH and Inferno would be equivalent to 244 microseconds, which is about the duration of a very fast camera shutter exposure , who said that BoC are slow?

I always think of Charon the ferryman and the crossing of the river Styx when I hear the bell sound

I feel very much that this track is open-ended with regards on what’s to come, i.e. no ’end of BoC’ or anything such. It pretty much resonates with a feeling that the future is unknown.

As for the title, my reading is that “I saw through Platonia” is a stylized version of “I saw through it all ...

I just realized today that there is more going on in terms of voices than the three sample loops (U-S…, ”just for once”, ”I have sinned”. There are for example gasp and sigh sounds from c. 12 second and throughout the entire track, much like in Oneofthrix’s ’Andro’ track, but also barely audible ...

The entire vibe in this track reminds me a great deal of Brian Eno's Nerve Net album. Younger fans who have not yet checked out this absolutet masterpiece is encouraged to do so. You'll also find some Tomorrow's Harvest vibes
