More of an interlude track than anything else

Something I've been 'working' on:
half-time drums, lazy ambient music - ended up sounding like something off 'a few old tunes' - not consciously, but I realized the aesthetic I was going for was from there:

Having listened through to both - on both a crummy stereo and a studio setup - I'd say the new remasters are a little heavy on the bass, and probably didn't need to be clipped (this always tends to accentuate drums and percussion), but overall appear to be a general better balance than the originals ...

Thanks for this- My concern with this, having listened to it up at the studio, is that the stereo spread goes too far - having mastered for the past 16 years, I'd advise easing back on that a bit and maybe doing per-band stereo spreading instead - I would leave off the mids for the most part (maybe ...

back on Geogaddi they could have not reversed Dandelion, that's one of their best pieces of music, but 99% of people will never hear it "the right way".

I love the attitude of Jacquard Causeway. Like it's daring the listener to wrap their mind around the structure of the track, but in a "check out how cool this sounds" way.


Also, for me this album went from sounding bleak and kinda ominous to almost comforting with recent listens for some reason ...
