This track... Incredible to say the least. For some reason its got my heart going, and how I've been perceiving everything these past weeks now completely makes sense to me... perfect for the blaze that is Fall.

I love this track lots yes.

the whole audiotrack 6 sample thing, though, it's higher pitched in both 33 and obviously 45 rpm versions and also shitloads higher quality than my copy of old tunes.

This does at least, if nothing else, prove once and for all that OTv1 is, whilst not an actual BoC compilation, BoC's music... and that high quality copies of the songs exist. :O

Actually... makes me wonder if this entire rip of old tunes is supposed to be played at... er... 1.28 times the speed it is. :0 Actually no that's stupid, they probably just pitched it up to fit with the key of Seven Forty Seven and anyway She is P is on two at the same speed YEAH NEVERMIND THAT WAS A CRAPPY THEORY

i've heard slight differences between tape decks' playback speed.

it could very well be that whoever digitised these tapes originally may have had a tape deck that was playing the tapes back at a slightly slower speed
that gum you like is going to come back in style

that's a fairly significantly slower speed though, and as I said, tracks like She is P are fine, so...

Just listened for the second time. There is so much going on in this song! It's so subtle, yet so intense!

Yeah...this track arrived along with this intense wind and cold we've had recently, after months of nothing but heat and sun. Very synchronous.

First opinion - meh.
Second opinion - yeah, ok, I get it now. Lovely.

Now?

Third opinion - absolutely fucking blown away. Playing loud in my front room through the PS3 with the 'Earth' visualization on the mahoosive tv, curtains are open and I'm watching a west London sunset at work while planes approach Heathrow, lights flashing as they descend. There's a slight orange sodium tint to the darkening scene, and this tune is repeating repeating repeating. It's nothing less than epic. I should know by now..every single BoC tune that makes me feels this way starts off with a 'meh' opinion. It's just been too long since it last happened, and I fear a long wait until it happens again.

And no, I'm not smoking anything.
I'll see you when the sun sets east, don't forget me.

I've liked this track since the days of the Geogaddi site so was pleased to learn it would be included in the box set. The 7 1/2 year (wow, that long) wait has been worth it, the track is amazing.

Frankly a bit disappointed in this at first, but appreciating it better now with repeated listenings now that I accept it for what it is, rather than what I was hoping.

One odd thing though; it really doesn't feel like 6:45, it seems to be over before I know it.

Listened to the track on a great sound system today (only heard it on headphones before)....and DAM what a superb track! Its easily one of my current favourite BOC tracks. Doesn't it sound like they done some polishing and new production tricks on the track (for me this could be new material by them)?

Due to the phasey nature of the track I am getting a more Pure Phase era Spiritualized vibe than say Shine A Light. Still, I wonder if they like/liked the older trippy J. Spaceman material?

I did not really like it at the sped up form..

The 33 is a different story though.. You can better hear the intricacies of it. Mmm. That beginning part from 5D is insanely creepy, i love it.. But anyway this is cool stuff I really like it when they get chaotic but at the same time everything makes sense.
