My thoughts exactly. It are loops meant for mixing, so there's nothing to conclude about any future style like this imo.Snufkin wrote:It's an interesting idea, but seeing as these loop tracks are intended for mixing purposes, maybe that's the reason it's pretty dancey.
Still haven't heard the track though.. still don't have my package!

Only on this forum could we take a 1.8 (not 3) second loop that none of us expected to hear and complain about it.
...especially given that it's just a snippet of a much longer, epic live track that anyone can list to if they dig for it.

Should we be grateful for this punchy new loop, or should we complain that it's slightly less than two seconds of BoC music? Did Warp knock on their door, asking for a loop, making BoC go "Oh shit!!!" and scramble to edit a 1.8 second tape of music, or did they toil over it for countless hours, sacrificing their personal lives while descending into the pits of madness for their art? Maybe both?
One can only speculate.

Besides, one can already choreograph a dance for some BoC tracks if he or she is stoned enough.

i feel you tekmosis. even if the whole track turns out to be amazing, this loop does nothing for me at all. i don't get the hype. but it appears i understand less and less about this forum as we move through time and the atmosphere and roster in here change. but hey, let me jump on the paddywagon and react with typical BoC fanboy disbelief to your opinion:
