Ah man. I'm not easily impressed at all, but this is superb. I adore the chord progression, the fat bass, the granular synthesis. Well done! Do you have more?Pantheon wrote:For all the BOC, Bitstream, Aphex, Mariel Ito fans:

All sounds were created from scratch, and no external plugins.
Only the basic ones included.

Hope you like it.

Ok, heres what I was working on yesterday.

Flying lotus inspired I guess
Kinda funny how the piano instrument was created btw,
My reel-to-reel player glitched out and I got this 100hz feedback from somewhere, I recorded it, used a sharp filter to boots at 100hz and then played it in a sampler.
Let me know what you think. Its only short, not finished at all.

Sorry for the song spam,
I have worked my tune up to this point:

But now I need to take a step back and get a fresh pair of ears to listen to it.
I have no direction for it anymore
Thanks

I don't post here much and I'm kind of a lurker. But I think this is my favorite message board out of the few that I visit.
Anyway, I've been making electronic music for around 8 years now and this song is one of my best, I think. Hope you enjoy.
I just listened to your "Climbing Stairs" and it's quite dark, in a good way. Good job on using the beat as an atmosphere instead of trying to make it sound like a live kit. Keep pushing those kind of chord progressions further.
Very nice buildup - Are you using a microKorg by chance?many colored grass wrote:
