I hear that. I don't like misplaced, thoughtless anger towards religion.turquoise70 wrote:you know what, let's drop the bullshit altogether, fuck anyone who doesn't think just like me.meat like product wrote:fuck those stickers and fuck all religion while we're at itVexille wrote:

I bought my mac for all the wrong reasons but I don't regret it one bit. Using it is a pleasure rather than a frustration. It seems that many who hate macs aren't mac users which is understandable as their marketing methods can be a bit irritating and condescending. But despite this they do have the products to back it up. And as far as ipods are concerned, it's an excellent mp3 player and that's all that matters. I bought into the product, not the marketing.
X factor - God i hate it. It is filmed in such a manipulative way as if people are incapable of having their own emotions (which seems to be a trait of US TV it has to be said).
Disney, or what it has become. I love the Jungle Book and some of the older disney films but now it's ust a big propaganda machine which is pretty disgusting.
most big names you hear are direcly/indirectly connected to sorrow somewhere in the world.. what IBM did is a thing in the past, but what all the rest are doing is a thing of the present, including IBM of courseCupz wrote:

i don't know how much it takes for people to learn that most, if not all corporate bullshit is against the 'consumer'... it's funny enough being called a 'resource' at work..
Tesco - an Uber-large UK based supermarket chain which, if they're allowed to, will probably be selling you the air you breathe and individual licences to shit by the time you read this.
£1 out of every £8 spent by consumers in the UK is spent in Tesco. Roughly 4000 stores in the UK if memory serves. That's approx 1 store to every 15,000 people. Currently the World's third largest retailer, they've taken an approach to World domination that Genghis Khan would have been proud of. Treating their staff like shite, treating their suppliers worse, hoovering up land with a Blitzkrieg-like abandon so they can presumably build a "Tesco-Metro" or "Tesco Express" the corner of every street, road, car park, office building, hospital, or - frankly - anywhere where two or more people gather for longer than 30 seconds. Starbucks? Pah! We spit on your stinking Starbucks (actually, I do but that's another story). Tesco's CEO was recently described as "the person really running the UK".
Still, in fairness, however annoying their smug "Every Little Helps" ad campaign gets, at least they don't have Jamie fucking Oliver patronising us with his Mockney accent. The twunt. You listening Sainsburys?

PS: I bet you my APPLE intel quad 2.2 xeon, with 16 GB of ram on my 64-bit OS would kick yours out of the water.
I'm not saying that my computer is better than yours (my computer sucked balls), just that PC's are WAY cheaper and come with better specs right off the bat. A PC with similar specs and performance to your computer is a lot cheaper, so what's the point? Not everyone has a Mac fetish and $3000+ to burn on a computer and upgrade it like that. But if I did I wouldn't spend it all just to have a pimped out Mac.(I'd build my own PC and save... I dunno... a couple thousand dollars.) I'm a big fan of practicality.

Completely agree. Loads of jobs have gone as the area I work on is being taken over by Europe's biggest Tesco. Luckily our shops fine, just about. The Tesco they knocked down to build a new one on was big enough, and guess what they're building 5 minutes down the road from there? ANOTHER bleedin' Tesco!Mexicola wrote:Tesco - an Uber-large UK based supermarket chain which, if they're allowed to, will probably be selling you the air you breathe and individual licences to shit by the time you read this.

im not sure the person who started this thread wanted us all to argue with each other. i use a mac, simply because i just had enough of windows. windows didnt work for me. just like pepsi doesnt work for me. i drink coke (when i cant find anything more creative for my taste buds), i hate GM, dell, 90% of all "fast-food" brands (mos-burger is the only exception i can think of in the burger dep't).
i hate beer commercials (WTF do you take me for? seriously?), i hate people that try to tell you that all belief systems are redundant and they can prove god doesnt exist (honestly, im not religious, but some people need a spiritual connection to the universe, and they more than entitled to it). i hate "Dollars 4 Gold".
i, too, hate crocs, if i ever saw my wife wearing them it would be grounds for divorce. if she ever caught me wearing them i would hope she'd put a bullet in my head.
i hate commodore for going bust, i loved my amiga so much.
i hate nintendo for region-locking fucking everything, makes sharing videogames with my children that much harder (language barrier).
i hate sega for dropping the dreamcast. (actually i hate you all for not buying one!
)
i hate axe/lynx, man, that shit is offensive, but marginally less than B.O.
i could go on forever...
PS: much respect to Jamie Oliver for at least bringing attention to and trying to do something about the shovelled shit they are trying to pass off as food thats being served to the children of the UK at school.
