this isn't my cover but i thought it was unlikely that any of you guys would have heard it here before.

it's by my swedish friend who goes under the name of "zabutom" and it was written, coded and produced on a commodore 64 a few years back.

one of my favourite BoC covers out there, for sure.

I did have the original .sid file that he sent to me around the time of the release, although at the moment I can't seem to find it, I must have deleted it :(

The best you can do at the moment is rip the .flv from the youtube video and then convert to .mp3. At least you'll have the track in stereo opposed to mono (you can only get mono from a .sid to mp3 conversion)

Hope that helps :)

You can do that, although these additional plugins seem to have a habit of lagging the audio for 1 or 2 seconds during a song even with the best of computers and connections (mine is a Vista gaming computer and I can get 300kb/s download speeds, and I've never had a perfect recording straight from Youtube)

Back on topic anyway, here is another nice cover I forgot to post the other day of Amo Bishop Roden:

There was a post about this previously on this forum. I remember downloading the *.sid file myself. Check with the search, the download link could still be around.
