Plaid 'Rakimou'. In the middle of making a not-too-harsh Plaid compilation to play in the shop next week, and when this track comes on I'll have to put down whatever I'm doing and listen to it properly.

'Eyen' by Plaid... Great track!

Track 1 off of their 2001 LP 'Double Figure'... I'm just getting into Plaid; they've definately done some excellent work.

Hearing 'Eyen' is what got me into Plaid. 'Double Figure' is one of my favourite electronic albums. 'Rest Proof Clockwork' and 'Not for Threes' have some amazing stuff on them as well.

This morning I can't get Ciaran Byrne's 'Goodbye John Goodbye' out of my head.

What gorgeous work... They manage to make guitars sound alien. Nobody does melodies like these guys, not even BoC. Not <i>better</i>, but different from BoC melodies...
