Are you on a long term RX, or the 2 week one? Also, 10mg, or 5mg?

Be sure to take on a well empty stomach for best results. Sometimes even if i have eaten in the past 3 hours, it will not kick in as normal.

I have been taking it every night for about 2 years now. Umm... tolerance builds fairly quickly, some people find the high very pleasant (me), and other people hate it. The onset is fairly harsh. One second you are "OK" and like a few mins later, you could realize you are in it.

It has a benzo feel to it, with dissascocitive like undertones. It's a very, awake while dreaming feel to it. It's very bizarre to say the least. coordination usually go out the door... intense tunnel like vision at times... shadows, slight visuals, etc. mostly a dissascociation, with depressant effects added.

NOTE: Don't mix with alcohol! If you do, only 1, or 2. Alcohol + Zolpidem = instant blackout.

You may not remember anything as it is. Don't let your poor judgment let you drive or anything else stupid. lol.

Cool thanks for the heads up.

Its the 5mg and a 4 week course and I dont realy drink or drive anyway so that wont be a problem.

Yeah i've had insomnia for about 2 years now, so im somewhat nocturnal. Hopefully this will help, and from the way you describe it, it sounds like fun 2.

Ok, so i'll give it a couple of hours after eating before I take them.

I'll post back if I get some crazy effect.
Im going to try create some music when im under so sounds to me like it will be good for something realy ambient. 8)

Awesome!

Okay, I don't know how much high you will get because I take the 10mg. So, if you want to see what it's like, you could try taking two 5mg pills :-D

EDIT: I have found that 5mg, just makes me sleepy. <-- then again, i have a huge tolerance from drinking (alcohol: GABAa cross tolerance), and taking 10mg a night for 2 years.

reminds me of my experiences taking a few too many Xanax to carry me through the nightmare or air travel. what a horrid experience, it was like a meeting with the face of death, staring him in the eyes and trying to will myself away despite having no control.

Long story on how I was prescribed Ambien.. Not sure why I even filled the damn perscription to be honest. Doctor had no idea what I was even talking about when I was in the ER, so he just told me to get more sleep..?

Anyways - the first night I took it, it felt like there were others in my room with me through the entire night.. This was before I started smoking too, so I had no idea what to even expect.

I specifically remember laying in bed, thinking I was awake.. but I was actually sound asleep. Felt like someone washolding their hand over my forheard - and later on the dark figures surrounded me, all night too.

Haven't tried that shit since.

I'm not really down with sleep-aids or anything that is supposed to help me do something I should naturally be able to do.. Its the worst when you are seeking help and the only thing they can tell you is to pop some pills.

Long time since I had an evening like this all by myself. Checking a lot of cd's from which I think sound cooler when your high (or really high like me, right now. You get that when you haven't smoked in a long time).
Gas (AKA Wolfgang Voight) is fucking brilliant. Check out his quadrology Nah und Fern. It had 4 albums: Gas, Zauberberg, Konigsforst and Pop. All so great.

Now I'm listening to the Books; Lost and Safe. Never thought much of this album, but it's great!

i like pete's last post

here's my latest one:

reductive analysis is great for understanding the constituent parts of a situation and how they relate

however it shouldn't be considered as the necessary perspective from which judgement should be deliberated on.

judgement on the part of the observer can take place at any level of observance. take care not to mistake the observer for something totally outside of the system he is in, or as something separate from his own mind, or as something that is independent of the observation itself. these are all common mistakes where there is no patient, wise, clear thought.
