True story. When I was a little kid and I saw the cover of 'The Bends', it made me think that Radiohead were an electronica band.
This was before Kid A, people.
I predicted the future.

Love Radiohead to this day. :D
'Subterranean Homesick Alien' would be up there in my favourites I think.

IMO Amnesiac is their best record... Or OK Computer... Or Kid A ...
Heck, they're all so darn good!

The entirety of 'The Bends' has a special place in my heart because I could remember the songs from childhood memories before I even properly gave it a listen in my early teens.

Aphex Twin's 'Flim'. For myself its easily what I consider a perfect electronic song.

Its because of the low/deep/thick tape drive sound underlying the whole track. I dont know how they made it but I will not give up trying to find out.
Yeah, and all the low-frequency, subtle, nuanced harmonies and melodies that are within that! :)

And I can't see why everyone loves them. I dislike their entire discography except for a few songs. I just don't get it.

Yeah quite often I'll come home and crank this track, its unbelieveable.. I have so many BoC favorites, like Julie and Candy.. its so fucking twisted that its impossible to wrap my head around. Cole recently played XYZ for me, and I think that track is absolutaly fantastic.

My first song I ever really connected with was:

Cygnus X - The Orange Theme (Ferry Corsten Remix)

With that I fell completely in love with electronic music. For a long time I had never really known what music was my kind of music, and I had finally discovered it.

Then one day, I heard:

Tiësto - Nyana

And I became a hardcore Tiësto fan. I stayed in trance for a long time until I heard:

Joris Voorn - MPX309

And was like, "Hey now, this minimal techno stuff is actually pretty awesome! Almost as awesome as trance!"

Then one day a friend showed me:

Tycho - The Daydream

And my love for IDM was born.

I can't believe I forgot this one, but "Always Love" by Nada Surf. Also it's TERADA not Theresa, damn autocorrect.
