"a new album"

Post by PadraïK »

We got another "next album"-thread. Nice how we keep to build up tention. Up till last week I never took an effort to listen to a boc-remix so far 'cause I thought that it could never match the proper boc stuff.

WRONG.

Awaiting the next album I've collected all the remixes they did (10 I guess) and I was thrilled to find myself a "new boc album" that way. So I can go for another while and if nothing comes out in spring I might return to "next album"-mode.

If there's other people who skipped the remixes: they're all pure and timeless boc stuff like the rest they did.

10 you say...

Let me just check the ones I have and see if they match up -

Broken Drum (Remix by Boards of Canada)

Last Walk Around Mirror Lake (Boards of Canada remix)

Surfaise (Boards Of Canada Trade Winds Mix)

Poppy Seed (Boards of Canada)

Good Friday (Boards of Canada Remix)

Dead Dogs Two : Remixed by Boards of Canada

It appears I only have 6. Just looking on BocPages, I need to hear the other 4.

You might reckon 10 if you count the Poppy Seed Reprise separately.

Don't forget the "BOC version" of Trapped on A Few Old Tunes.

Since when was Xentrix a remix?

If it is that sickening and boring, I suggest you not look. It's probably not too good for you.

I just discovered the Alpha Quest Mix of Roygbiv. Now that's hot stuff. Still not enough to hold me over, but nice.

Yeah, well when you have been on here for a long time and people keep making the same fucking threads over and over again, it's beyond mind numbing.
