You mean favourite album? and whats up with Aphex Twin being a band?
a strange mixture. some suprising, others not. I'm aware I'm a pretentious indie geek
(for the sake of saving space, I'm not including artists such as BoC, Squarepusher, Aphex, U-Ziq etc.)

well, sorry, i know aphex twin isn't a band and neither is tycho.
we can include single artists too. and, tycho has a song called past is prologue as well as an album called past is prologue.
Cusco... no favorite here. honestly too hard. Pegasus or Canada-Last Paradise or Milky Way or something. I have no idea.
BoC - Olson
Smashing Pumpkins - Muzzle or Jellybelly or Here Is No Why or Bullet With... you know what, this is too hard, too.
Beck - Loser (while it's not my most listened-to song of his, it's one of the first songs I ever felt like I connected with the lyrics and feel and sound of all at once)
Mort Garson - Easy To Be Hard (holy shit, seriously, one of my favorite pieces of music of all time)
"grand mistress of the grace note freedledeedee melodies" - Cupz, 2026
radiohead- everything in its right place
slowdive- souvlaki space station
neil young- out of the blue
boards of canada- dayvan cowboy
hood- summer's last annual
eric's trip- your always right
I just recently became obsessed with Tortoise. TNT, Standards, and Beacons of Ancestorship are being played to death these days. I like how it's very unpredictable music, but they're not afraid to be melodic and enjoyable. They don't sacrifice enjoyment for that "experimental" tag, which is pretty refreshing.
Amon Düül II - Phallus Dei
Boards of Canada - Basefree
Sonic Youth - The Sprawl
ABBA - The Day Before You Came
Squarepusher - Venus No. 17
Cocteau Twins - Aikea-Guinea
Aphex Twin - On
Venetian Snares - Einstein-Rosen Bridge
Laibach - Wirtschaft ist tot
Autechre - Ipacial Section
