Goodbye Paracat!

Post by Cupz »

I'm putting an end to all that is paracat. Calling the quits
The project helped me develop my music to what it is today. The project that brought tears of joy, sadness and frustration. The project I'm both proud and ashamed off.

Its over...

Thats why I zipped up my entire Paracat discography!

Copied Betamax
Melody Book
Silhouette Birds
Infinate Detail
Growth
Killing your darlings (+B Side)
and an unreleased album Slightly Burning (AKA Silhouette Birds Vol. 2)

Enjoy...or don't

Of course. Music will always be my life. I just thought it was time to focus on other things.

I'll scream something on these forums if the time is right for twoism to hear something.

I dont think I stirred up anything. Most of my work hardly got a listen. Not that I mind, looking back I'm happy it didnt.

Bye, bye Paracat, see you in the new era!

Got any ideas about the new direction? I know you like Lone very much but I sure hope you'll stay true to your own sound. Because that's what you had.

I do. Its like....extremely psychedelic-teeth-ache inducing-sugar-pop-rock and roll.

I already have several demos ready...but nothing for audience yet.

Yeah. Name changes are fine, just don't stop the music. You were heading in an interesting direction on your last couple releases. I always listened, but I'm terrible about getting back to people with feedback.

Goodbye Paracat

I showed killing your darlings on AH to my friend who knew nothing about you and he positively fell in love with your music. If you ever feel it amounted to nothing, or got the least bit of a negative vibe from your work just remember you converted at least one person who doesn't know you to your sounds.

All the best x

I know this may be a long shot but is there any chance that someone could reupload this collection. I got into Paracat's music way too late when I randomly downloaded Killing Your Darlings off of Retronym about a month ago and I loved what I've heard from there. If no one has it, then it's no biggie. Just wanted to say how amazing some of this stuff is.

Loooong time no see locustlx! Where have you been?

Yeah, Paracat had some uniqueness. I've got part of his collection somewhere, I'll dig into my archive and up some of it asap.

Aaaw, this is so sweet! Glad you like the tunes! I'll re-upload everything I have paracat-related (quite allot me thinks) if you're interested. For now, I'll re-upload the zip from the OP.

This warms my heart, even though I still think of my music from that era as a bit...awkward.
