For the record, the soundtrack to this movie is fantastic in a lo-fi sense. I'd love to track down the creators of the movie and try to get the original movie with all the other sounds dubbed. It's very cool dark ambient stuff, hehe.
And yes, thank you for clarifying, Hexagon Son - if anybody wants a copy you can private message me for the links. It's a VHS rip so it's very distorted and torn up, but it's best that way... I think it's the way it ought to be seen... haha.

Man! This film is really old and yes - music is freaking awesome! I recorded one melody from it and put in my music favorits. The story line is kinda classic and monorailed but atmosphere of 80th is here - in this film ) Also last hug scene of main characters (like on a BoC album cover) was very waitable scene for me lol ) One thing makes the question for me - they drank a coffie all the time - what do they ate? They can't stay alive so much time only by one cups of coffie - they must to eat something lol )ReadyLetsGo wrote:For the record, the soundtrack to this movie is fantastic in a lo-fi sense. The music in that movie is so awful. You can hear 2 or maybe 3 notes.polar sky wrote:The music in that movie is so fantastic. You can hear why BoC liked that movie so much.Twoist wrote:Someone's upped the entire film to YouTube;
this is 100% B-movie with its cheap costumes, scenery and screenplay
i liked to watch it now. dont know if i'd liked it in 1980. i think i would. sorry.
it's a pretty nice movie. got that lem's twist on 'alien' script kinda thingy. and the costumes and everything look pretty good. it's no ed wood. not really worth a watch if the only movies you see are either on tv, comic book adaptations or mainstream theater movies, because it may just confuse you, but if you got a movie lover inside you it's a really decent trip. on the same level as 'christmas on mars' at least.
and yes, the score is pretty boc-ish, but it's no surprise as movies like these were their main inspiration.

Just a Wild fucking guess. Maybe they liked it enough to use a scene (screen cap) from the movie as their album art for Twoism.Lens Larque wrote:How do you know that they like the movie so much?

I happen to enjoy the music in the movie. If you wanna call it music. More noise and drones then melodies but still very nice IMO.kelly7 wrote:The music in that movie is so awful.
