There is just so much going on in this the track its unbelievable. I actually find myself sometimes singing along to the cut up vocals, I must sound like a freakin spaz lol...

I swear that at some point in that song it sounds like someone is stuttering over 'It is absolutely necessary' or something along those lines.

Brilliant song, there are so many people speaking that it always makes me think of a heated debate.

i haven't heard that in the song yet, although i don't doubt it's in there. i seem to always hear "still, stay very very still", "you don't know, you, you don't know", something about "tradition", and "eight, eight, eight" at certain parts of the song, especially clear to me at 5:40 in and after. great song

Bocuma. It's the one I always come back to, and the one I've always wanted to find the appropriate imagery for. It does things to my head I wish I could explain.

I've just downloaded some of the Old Tunes. Sure, it's juvenilia and some of the Tunes are pretty one-dimensional. But then they produce a track like Audiotrack 13B - or "Davie Addison" - and suddenly it's in three dimensions. It's difficult to pinpoint why; perhaps its the old Bach thing of regular patterns, but then you spot the fact that they have altered the pitch a bit and it shifts slightly. Then you realise it's not sequenced, but played live, and the quavers aren't equal length. So a human being has played it, not a bunch of circuits. Or Audiotrack 15A ("I Will Get It Tattooed") - such beauty to be found in a minute of music! It's easy enough to reproduce on a keyoard at home (I've played it myself, it didn't take a lot of effort to work out) and yet it's just so right.

What staggers me is that although some of the Old Tunes appear on their albums, they did not use them more. Either track I've mentioned would have graced Music Has The Right To Children, and yet they do not. And that is such a statement of their art....

From owning current computer for only about 1yr now, my most played track is Kid For Today - and i'd say that's about accurate at being my favourite BOC song. I sometimes go through phases of favouritism for other tracks (Often Slow This Bird Down and In A Beautiful Place Out In The Country), but I think KFT as the start of that EP (and the rest of the EP) are where boc *clicks* with me the most ^_^
