GOOD SHOT!!

Seriously though, Ae and Fredd-e swear they know for sure he's legit. That's good enough for me.
Whether that means they've had a phone call from him with Mike and Marcus in the background, a signed letter from BOC, or just some juicy inside info, to me it doesn't matter.

Sometimes you've just got to find it in yourself to trust people I guess?

I dunno if you've seen the second trailer for Tron Legacy on Youtube (not the teaser, the longer one). The music playing in the background is part of their soundtrack. Not at all what I expected (it's a wierd cross of traditional movie soundtrack with a 80's retro twist and some distinctly modern day industrial effectage going on). Good though.

not really hyped for much of anything so far this year.... hopefully Rustie will release a debut on warp. flying lotus' cosmogramma tracks that I've heard so far have really turned me off to his music, not really digging those. guess the only thing so far that sounds promising to me is the new deftones album

Oh really? Wow, hope you're right.

Saw an interview with Jonsi last week which seemed to suggest the reason his solo album (and tour) had emerged now was that the rest of the band were all off having kids with their wives?
I read something about that a while back, in which they said they had an album in the stage of finishing I think!
They scrapped the recordings apparently

In 2010, I'm looking forward to new LPs from

Thurston Moore
Laetitia Sadier of Stereolab - "The Trip"

and VHS Head!! Possibly this spring, so like, in the next 3 months?

Yep, that's where I heard the news of a new LP this spring from VHS Head. No sign of anything yet on the skam website, although it did lead me to Nuearz's Saturation Point, which is a decent (but somewhat repetitive) record if you haven't heard it yet
