Warp10 Track 8

Post by Numerator »

I really love this track...I'd say it's one of my favourites from BoC
aside from "condescending/funkysinging", has anybody managed to work out what some of the vocoded voices are saying?...

I've heard
"take my hand"
"time is ticking (repeated several times)"
"the white convict, the white convict, the white convict.......meruaham"
(although to be honest that last one sounds fairly unlikely...)

anybody else got any ideas

It's one of my favourite unreleased tracks of theirs too.

If I had a penny for every version of the lyrics people thought they'd heard, I'd have a lot of pennies

Two I remember are 'focus on me' and 'Marcus sue me'

I have always heard the other main repeating sample as "the one only"
