It's beginning to look like a bad detective story.

We'll all find out very soon what this really means. I'm not getting excited anymore though, it's probably nothing big......or is it?

Everybody here should chill out a bit...I mean, they haven't said anything or changed the page at all. It's not like they're actively sitting around taunting us, changing the code every day or something. Most of the anger and hype in this thread seems self-created. We'll just have to see what happens with it, I don't think it's anything to be "figured out" yet.

***soap box mode on***

For years BoC let their music do the talking, letting us (the obsessive fan) fill in the blanks with conspiracy theories and “satanic” clues. Now they are throwing us a bone (albeit a very tiny, inconclusive bone), yet some of us are getting miffed. I’m thankful they have had two releases in the past year, thankful they gave us a music video, thankful they are communicating to us and have been taking part in multiple interviews. I agree with Siggy, I bet we’ll be filled in soon. Maybe D’s right, maybe its nothing big. But I bet we’ll all be thankful. If not, I’m still thankful I’ve got fresh Boards of Canada tracks filling my headphones right now...

Although the prospect of a gig is very exciting and we have all looked at this with loads of enthusiasm, we couldnt really be expecting them to actually go through with it, and we know full well theres no chance on this Earth that they would jus put up a flyer or something openly advertising a gig they were gonna perform in (re. Ross' statement.Would never happen mate).
Look at their track record and the number of gigs they have actually done to an audience larger than a group of freinds. What is it, 3?
I can see where some of you are coming from being pissed off etc etc but to be honest I think its well funny. Its brilliant. Its typical Boards man!
They have now and have had for a long time, got everyone round thier little fingers. They are in control and I bet they love it. Although the fact that they might take you on a wide goose chase for no reason is cropping up for some people, I personally dont think they would do that.
Time will tell. Its like when people were first slating TCH because it was different and they were expecting another MHTRTC or Geogaddi. I just have this feeling that all will be explanined and it wont be anything near as good as a live gig, which loads of people have more or less settled on. We are raising the bar to high in expectation. I hope were not all shot down.

Oh it's definitely something. If only we had something better to do with all our free time than speculate on it. :P Then perhaps it wouldn't matter what it was, we'd all be happy to have it, whatever it is. :?

So what are you trying to say? Care to be a little less obtuse?
