ditto. plus hauntology means something completely different according to wikipedia.

The idea suggests that the present exists only with respect to the past, and that society after the end of history will begin to orient itself towards ideas and aesthetics that are thought of as rustic, bizarre or "old-timey"; that is, towards the "ghost" of the past.

it's not that different; hauntology the music was named for hauntology the historical-philosophical concept [/marxist theory geek]

although yeah, not a word i see myself saying out loud any time soon. it's the 'lol' of music adjectives.

I don't care about chillwave or hauntology terms either, both sounds shit like IDM (wich is the worst term ever) does.

I just think Neon Indian and Washed out is pop music, lo-fi pop.
