This album is taking forever ! (is the normrex label too busy doing the hipster party thing or what?)
It should have been out on Artists Valley a long time ago instead (seems to be on hiatus since a while)
The waiting for this release has taken on BoC-like proportions.

Yeah, I can hear that too. I found them the other day after poking around Bibio's MySpace, found the Artist Valley profile and realized that was the logo at the beginning of some of the VtC videos. So Letherette and Loafe and Merege are the same guys, friends with Bibio. Given that Bibio/Stephen and Richard Roberts (aka Letherette/Loafe and Merege) have moved from the "soundtracks to nature documentaries that were never made, rooms filled with scratched dusty mirrors, Tape heads covered in moss and lichen" sound (which I prefer, as I assume many other BoCers do) to the 70's funk and soul sample chop-ups with his vocals, I fear the Loafe and Merege project is put on hold or abandoned. They have not logged into their MySpace since December 2009.

I am assuming that it was Bibio's Nagra IV-S that was used on the Loafe and Merege tracks to make them have the saturated sound. Bibio was using that sound since Fi, so I am assuming Bibio is the one who influenced Loafe and Merege, and not the opposite.

so like, does anyone know if the Letherette track "Master Chin" is available anywhere? I love it from the BTS beat show mix but I wish I had the full track, if it exists anywhere.

Don't think it's been released. Its only the tracks on the EP, Blad which is on Brownswood Electronic and their remixes which are available elsewhere in full. To my knowledge anyway.

Did you get the new Letherette BTS mix? Was posted in the other letherette thread.
