I get like, CSPAN, Wisconsin Public.. a couple local channels that display lunch menus - one channel is just the desktop of someone's PC running windows 98, and there's an error box in the middle of the screen.. That one is exciting.
I've seen episodes of many different shows, but my favorites by far are Breaking Bad, the BBC Life show (fuck oprah), Planet Earth, The Pacific, and Band of Brothers - dono if you consider them shows, but they run in episodes.

I'm with you there bro..its been such a source of wonder and inspiration to me for the last few years..I'm am quite positive we will never see a show as good as Lost on TV again, and while that's a sad thought I'm glad to see it all come together and end the right way.747Music wrote:The last episode of lost is airing tomorrow at 7PM. I'm so sad that the series is ending though. Lost is definitely my favorite TV show ever.

Agreed. What an ending...still wrapping my head around it. This seems to help: (scroll down a tad)harpoon dodger wrote:I'm with you there bro..its been such a source of wonder and inspiration to me for the last few years..I'm am quite positive we will never see a show as good as Lost on TV again, and while that's a sad thought I'm glad to see it all come together and end the right way.747Music wrote:The last episode of lost is airing tomorrow at 7PM. Beautiful conclusion though. Everyone who hates this show seem to be the ones who haven't seen all of it...If I had started watching half-way through I'm sure I'd also be like 'this is f-ing ridiculous!'. But wow, what a trip it was for those who spent 6 seasons with it. Thought provoking stuff for our own lives, as cheesy as it sounds.

Indeed. The last 10 minutes, that moment in the Church was just mindbending. The choice of words..dialogue. My jaw was on the floor just like the season 3 opener ahahaPhasen wrote:Agreed. Indeed, indeed... My dad and I have been lost fans ever since the beginning. I cried so much while watching that. I thought about it all throughout school constantly today.harpoon dodger wrote:Indeed. The last 10 minutes, that moment in the Church was just mindbending. The choice of words..dialogue. They really played up the nostalgia aspect of the show. And they did a great job of wrapping up all of the characters. The church scene at the end was brilliant. I gotta say I'm slightly bummed by how it turned out though. the flash sideways aspect of season six ended up being a big plot twist, which is cool. But I really wish they chose a less spiritual route, and a more sci-fi route with this. I was really hoping the sideways world was gonna pull together and somehow break through to the island and save everything by coming together. instead we got a rather anti-climactic ending to the man in black. no answers on what the smoke monster or island ever was. which is ok. but some on my friends were really pissed about it. i for one was along for the ride and i love the characters. jacks story was totally epic and it ended in the best way. i give it thumbs up.

I assume you mean you wanted a technical explanation of what the smoke monster/island was..I for one never expected that of the show's creators, knowing where it came from and its origins was all the answer I needed. To me, I like it more that they left things ambiguous, it lets viewers make their own conclusions and that's what half the fun with Lost always was to me.
