There is no new album

... Anyway, I'm not really familiar with vinyl records and I think I might start collecting a few. Quick question about the new album before this is probably locked. (surprised it wasn't considering the bogus title) I'm a n00b so... Do the vinyls usually come out the same time it is released digitally/CD or is it usually a later date? Because I'm definitely purchasing the new album digitally and on vinyl. Thanks, no hard feelings bros...

At a guess (and if current trends are anything to go by) there'll be a "Collectors Edition" LP/CD/FLAC/MP3/WAX-CYLINDER/ARTWORK/BUMPER-STICKER/TOILET-ROLL package on pre-sale only at about £3Million first.

Then again it's BOC so maybe it'll only be available on C90 or something..

I feel that a lot of warp's stuff comes out on both vinyl and cd, but as for other bands usually the cd comes out first and the vinyl a month or so later. If you preorder it, you'll have it when you have it.

Anyways, 191 days till we know for sure!

"Do something"
"Millennium"
"The resurrection of the dead"
"Jesus came to the kingdom on earth"
"sun new resolutions"

Thoughts?

All track titles but that one I think, haha. Or at least all themes. Or maybe it's the opposite of what the new album? Mushroom cloud on the warp.com page... Maybe they're throwing us for a loop. This is exciting!

I wonder if they're trying some kind of promotional tamagotchi-style thing, where their mood changes reflect something happening at the time of posting...

I urge BoC-fans to solve this riddle and start 'petting' BOC so as to curb their mood towards an album launch :p

It was confirmed once that the album wasn't released earlier 'for reasons out of the bands control'. MDG also stated 'it's finally coming out in 2010'. He said it once. Nothing since, and that was a while ago. The clock is ticking and there has been absolutely nothing since. Makes me curious. Really wouldn't be surprised if we don't hear from MDG until maybe a title is confirmed and release date is set. I really wouldn't count on it anytime within the next 4 months. Still, I'm not going to come on here and whine like a baby.

Well an interesting thread this one I must say.
Heres my two cents...
I agree with the last post. I think what we are waiting for may take a while (but it could take less) who knows? I must admit the suspense has been killing me. There has been nothing on their official site (only news about new t shirts or something). Makes me wonder too.
But surely they will be thinking of the fans. I mean, what band doesnt?
Anyway, I love BOC and I'm glad that we do have music of theirs that we can keep listening to until the new album comes out. To all of you, I say, its awesome that you guys are fans. Lets keep believing in BOC!
