Im not well at the moment, and i cant realy hear properly because of it, so the mix might be poor.
I hope you enjoy it :)

Also:

Nice work there Synthestesia, it sounded good on my laptop speakers anyway. I'll have to replay it on my proper speakers soon.
Great job!!!

I was realy just trying to work out how they made the bass patch/drone sound.

Tha bassy drone I think is from an Oberheim. Can't duplicate it or emulate it. Just gotta have an oberheim!!

Thanks for the kind comments guys.
I have finished another cover today, of Orange Romeda.

This track was the guini pig for an all tube preamp I have been designing and have recently finished prototyping. I'll post some pictures/details of it if anyones interested.

These tubes were made in the 60's and intended for use in cars and automobiles. They can be got hold of dirt cheap on ebay (probably because of their "poor" sound .) The circuit is fairly simple, and in the end cost me only about £15 for everything. There is one tube for each channel, and that leads to some awesome overdrive possibilities. If anyone wants the schematics or anything just ask me...

I put some blue vanity leds under the tubes to give them that glowing look. The red glow is the hot fillament in the tube itself. The next step is to mount all this in a nice case, then it can sit ontop of my soundcard :).

Some of my other projects that im working on is an ALL TUBE ring modulator, and an analogue tube'd drum synth :).

Pantheon.. (or anyone, for that matter)
how about a cover of Echus... otherwise known as 'Live at ATP 01 Unknown'?
I love that track and would love a clean, non-bootleg version ;)

Synthetrix wrote:If you don't mind I'd like to suggest you try Corsair. :)

I had to go and listen to Corsair as I had forgotten how that one goes. It's short and pretty simple. Maybe I can do something different with it.
I was working on a version of Zoetrope today. Trying to get a dub feel going.
About another 15-20 minutes to of material and "Synthetrix Plays The Music Of Boards Of Canada" will be ready.

So did you finish the album yet? and did you do corsair? :)

It's almost done. It will be released on August 1st.
Unfortunately Corsair was not one of the songs I did for it.

Minor disappointment of the exclusion of Corsair, but perhaps that can be on volume II? LOL

And heck, you at least give a relase date. Sooo looking forward to it.

One more thing. What is the name of the font that you used for the cover art?

Thanks so much.
