This guy seems to be really new

People on this forum whine a lot about there not being new material. There is a dude that comes on here about once in a blue moon named MDG. He's an official representative of the band and gives out minuscule updates about the possibility of new material. A while back in the middle of the complaining a guy posted here named 'dealer' with some pics of really rare BoC cassettes. Apparently, there was a mislabel of people thinking 'Old Tunes Vol. 1' and 'A Few Old Tunes' were two separate albums, blah blah blah. Eventually MDG came on and solved this mess and told us that BoC don't like acknowledging this old material being leaked because they were working on a BoC box set of all of that pre-Twoism material, remastered and packaged with new album art and whatnot set to be released after the new album. We don't know when the new album's release date is. MDG said 'it's finally coming out in 2010', but there have been rumors that it will be even later, perhaps....

That clear everything up? Anything else you want to add guys?

I think you summed it up pretty nicely, Stry. A+ on your history homework, heheh.

Welcome alexpardi! :D

Yup - Stry's summary nails it (nice work sir)

Have a root about here and also on the comprehensive info on BOCpages for more. (See the brown tab in the top right corner? Go, go, go!)

Also be sure to visit this link: http://bocpages.org/wiki/Statements_from_Hexagon_Sun

and search on that page for the following:
"box set"
"boc-set"
"boc set"

(just do a ctrl+F on the page)

and read all the interesting quotes MDG made about it in the past

i'm still confident we will eventually see a boc set of 'old tunes' beautifully packaged

Nah, we still don't know for sure. OK, 1:0 for the black t-shirt, but this was one shot.

We still have the word of twoism's admins only. It would not be the first that admins makes fun of users (*cough* watmm?). I'm not sure if they realized that they've bound their credibility to mdg's words.

There was something about an album this year and that's not the only project, remember?

Well, we only have the beginning of July, so I think everything's OK up to now.

The admin and mod's on this site say that they have every reason to belive he is legit.
They havent said or done a single thing to make me question their sincerity and joyrex's infamous
april fools jokes have nothing to do with this forum.

I can hardly see why people can think MDG is an imposter. He is seldom here, and when he does drop us a line he is very conciderate, well mannered and rational. He only seems to want to dispell false acusations and sort out misconceptions. I hardly think this would be the motives of an imposter.

Where is the trust?

It's been confirmed numerous times MDG is a legitimate source of information.

1) We didn't make him moderator just like that.. we are not naive.

2) I've exchanged e-mails with him by using his @hexagonsun.com domain (does anyone really need more proof than this? he has full access to www.hexagonsun.com -- that's a friggin no brainer if you ask me.)

3) If you can send AND receive e-mails then you do have proper access to that domain (this eliminates the thought of e-mail spoofing) and anyone who has proper access to that boc specific domain is at the very least closely related to the band.

4) His online presence has also been confirmed (by mail) by another @hexagonsun.com person: S. Goderich -- the one who is credited as the author of the official biographies.

Have some faith people.

That's a freaking thing. In my mental condition I might just sit and, wait and watch the numbers fall back to zero as I do with dl's and as I used to do with time in the classroom. Dividing the unbearable amount in to acceptable numbers catalising the time-experience by changing the rate of division. Like for now it's hardly like 4 'month and a halfs'.

As long as I don't do harm to ppl...

And by the end of the month it's like only 3 times 50 days. That means nothing compared to spending 6 months in a spacecabin.

I checked it on google and links on facebook, watmm, stumbleupon and some other sites are popping up, I'm really amazed :)
